Small Groups

"God is Closer Than You Think"

Beginning on this evening for 6 Sunday evenings, we will be exploring this theme. The study will help you find God where you least expect Him, listen to His voice, find the best way to relate to God, align yourself with the Holy Spirit, and draw closer to God even when He seems far away. It will take the format of a worship time, video presentation and then small group discussion. The videos are presented in a novel way by John Ortberg. The discussions will be led by church folks in groups of 10 or so. This is a great series and a great opportunity to try out small groups for a short time to see how they work for you! All adults, young and old, are welcome! Fireside youth will be participating. Put this in your new day planner for January!!! Sign up sheets are in the foyer.

The Marriage Course - led by Pastor Ida starts tonight (7 weeks)

Are you looking for a great way to deepen your relationship with your spouse or significant other? Join us for “The Marriage Course” which will begin @ 6:30 p.m. in the Chipman Room. The course consists of 7 video sessions presented by Nicky and Sila Lee (a couple who have been married for over twenty years and have four children). The course is designed to prepare, build and strengthen marriages. It is also open to those contemplating marriage.  Cost of $20.00 per couple. Hope to see you there.

Are you a couple in your mid-20's to mid-30's?

You're invited to an evening of fun at the Archibald's (Bob and Louise) on February 6th 7-9pm. For further details call Archibald's @ 865-7077 or church office @ 835-5966

Thanks

Ida would like to thank Leela Bates for volunteering to set-up the Youth Room including TV/VCR.  Your help is greatly appreciated.
