Final Results!!! “Gifts for Change” - CBM

It is a joy to imagine the difference these gifts will make in Jesus' name and in honour of our loved ones! Together we have been able to give as gifts 27 pair of rabbits, 12 goats, seeds and tools for 8 families, 3 beehives, HIV tests for 60 people, mosquito nets for 10 people, basic vaccination for 400 people, 2 bags of cement to fix houses in Bolivia, 26 elementary school educations for a year, 1 gift to provide food and medical care for a refugee family in Kenya, 1 training session overseas in areas of much need (health, spirituality, etc), help for 6 children in crisis, a gift for  youth ministry training to reach out to and disciple a new generation of believers in Europe or the Middle East and 5 gifts to be used where most needed!! That is what we know about!! We hope that all the people honoured in this way were delighted!! Remember that this can be done for any occasion during the year and not just at Christmas. Thank you so much for your generosity!

"God is Closer Than You Think"

Beginning on January 18 for 6 Sunday evenings, we will be exploring this theme. The study will help you find God where you least expect Him, listen to His voice, find the best way to relate to God, align yourself with the Holy Spirit, and draw closer to God even when He seems far away. It will take the format of a worship time, video presentation and then small group discussion. The videos are presented in a novel way by John Ortberg. The discussions will be led by church folks in groups of 10 or so. This is a great series and a great opportunity to try out small groups for a short time to see how they work for you! All adults young and old are welcome! Fireside youth will be participating. Look for sign up sheets next week and put this in your new day planner for January!!!
