Urgently needed! Transportation for Campers to Bayside

We need your help transporting children to and from Bayside Camp. Children must

be at the camp Sunday afternoon and picked after vespers the following Friday.

Drives are needed on the following days:

Sunday, July 12 and Friday, July 17 for 2 children

Sunday, August 9 and Friday, August 14 for 3 children

Sunday, August 23 and Friday, August - 28 for 1 child

Beacon House

The third Sunday of the month is Beacon House Sunday. Members of the congregation are encouraged to bring non-perishable items and place them in the Beacon House box located in the foyer. Suggested items for the month of July are canned baked beans, sugar or shaving lotion.


 

Prayer Link

Tidal Impact, which occurs every second year, is Canada’s largest youth mission program and is a mission initiative of our Convention. Tidal Impact is currently taking place (July 11th – 17th) in Saint John and Moncton. Please pray for the over 1000 youth and their leaders serving God this week through Tidal Impact. Pray for lives to be transformed by the Gospel this week.

 

Read-A-Thon

Wow! Folks are getting into reading books from the Library. We have a great selection of books and videos. Why don’t you visit the library, pick up some books or a video and join in the excitement? This program is for all ages including teens and adults and we have a variety of prizes.

Best wishes are extended to Lola Murphy who is celebrating her 89th birthday on July 17th. Best wishes are also extended to Evelyn Ross who is celebrating her 84th birthday on Wednesday, July 18th.

Our Summer Staff

Heather Cox: Did you know that Heather is currently a student at Acadia Divinity College, having taken two courses already in May!!  She graduated from King's College with a Bachelor of Journalism (Honours). She is Head of Programming for our Radio Station (CHSB 99.3 FM). Heather continues to work for MacGregor Brown, tutors students, provides childcare, leads our Worship Team and is a real joy to have around!! Heather is our Summer Ministry Children’s Coordinator.
