Give Thanks to the Lord for He is Great!

Go through his open gates with great thanksgiving,

Enter his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, bless his name.

For the Lord is always good. His is always loving and kind,

and his faithfulness goes on and on to each succeeding generation”.

(taken from Psalm 100 TLB)

New in the Library:

The Present Future: Six Tough Questions for the Church by Reggie McNeal

Many attendees of Oasis this past August in Wolfville said the speaker Reggie McNeal was their most inspiring experience.  Reggie explores his ideas more fully in this book and as he writes in the Introduction "I identify six new realities of this present future that must be addressed by church leaders who want to participate in a renewal of the North American church."  So, if you want more of Reggie or if you want to know what you missed if you didn't attend Oasis - then pick up this new addition to the Church Library.

Bayside Camp - Opportunities to Volunteer

Even though this is our first fall rental season we have every weekend booked with groups ranging from 35 to 120. With such a tremendous response to the availability of our newly expanded year round facilities comes a need for more volunteers. Together we can accomplish so much more than can ever be done alone. Would you be interested in helping in the kitchen? Dining Room? Janitorial services? Please contact the Camp Office by phone (902) 868-1237 or email info@baysidecamp.org for more information on volunteering either a full weekend (Friday evening until Sunday afternoon) or a full Saturday.
