We want you to take your next step spiritually. That could mean getting baptized, committing to Bible study on a daily basis, or maybe you need to explore what God says about why you exist. Our CLASS sessions are all about those next steps. CLASS 101 is the basic introduction to our church as family of God, designed to clearly explain who and what our church is. Reserve FRIDAY, October 23, 7 - 8:30 PM, and Saturday, Oct 24, 9 - 11:30 AM and plan to attend!

Rapha Seminar

HARVEST GATHERING

Thanksgiving – a time when the decorations in our sanctuary remind us of the beauty of the season, when we celebrate the harvest time and give thanks and sing praises to God for our many blessings. It is a time when we often think of those who have so much less than ourselves. All too often as individuals we feel there is little we can do to help, but this Thanksgiving we, as a church family, are going to have a special occasion to give to those in need. 

On Thanksgiving Sunday, October 11^th, 2009 we will be having a “Harvest Gathering.” This is an opportunity to bring donations of produce - potatoes, apples, carrots, etc. and non perishable goods such as sugar, pasta, peanut butter, and cereal and place them at the front of the sanctuary. Monetary gifts will also be gratefully accepted and may be placed in an envelope marked “Beacon House”.  All contributions will be given to Beacon House and, as they are short of both goods and money for those in need, this gesture will be greatly appreciated. 

For those who will be away on Thanksgiving Sunday you will have the opportunity to bring in your perishable and non perishable contributions today, or during the week prior to Thanksgiving.

As we, in Christian love, bring our gifts and place them at the front of the Sanctuary to bless others, we too will be blessed.

Need A Four-Drawer Filing Cabinet?

The Bedford Singers have a surplus 4-drawer filing cabinet to give away. It is located in the small storage room to the right of the stage in the vestry. Please contact David Waugh @ 865-7154 if you are interested.

Bayside Camp - Opportunities to Volunteer

Even though this is our first fall rental season we have every weekend booked with groups ranging from 35 to 120. With such a tremendous response to the availability of our newly expanded year round facilities comes a need for more volunteers. Together we can accomplish so much more than can ever be done alone. Would you be interested in helping in the kitchen? Dining Room? Janitorial services?
