covid-19 response

Dear Church,

We have learned a lot in the last few weeks about how to be an online community and we are still learning!  Hopefully you have been able to connect with us one way or another - YouTube, Facebook, email, phone, radio. We are praying for each one of you, for our community, for our world. God is good and He is with us, and we are here for each other.

Support for your family:

We understand that the demands of self-isolation and physical distancing will be difficult for some of our members. You likely have received a phone call from someone in the church checking in to see how you are doing.  If your needs have changed since your last check-in, please reach out. We have adapted our Community Care program so that it meets physical distancing requirements. Please contact the church office for more details.

Online church and communication:

If you need support or help in any way, please email office@bedfordbaptist.ca or call

902-835-5966. Message are being checked regularly.

Online church happens every Sunday morning starting at 10:10am with a pre-service LIVE chat, followed by the service at 10:30am and then a post-service LIVE chat. Stay tuned to our YouTube channel for mid-week and extra events both live and pre-recorded.  If you want a notification of upcoming events, hit the notification bell or follow us on Facebook @BedfordBaptist. Want to hear the service on the radio?  Tune in to 99.3FM on Sunday at 10:30am.

Weekly updates will be sent by email and posted on the BBC Facebook page and website. If you need to be added to the church email distribution list, please email peter@bedfordbaptist.ca or call the church at 902-835-5966.

Church Building:

In keeping with the Nova Scotia Health Authority and the Department of Education, the church building will remain closed until May 1st at the earliest. All services, events and programs that normally take place in our facility are canceled.

Our staff will use the office wing at their discretion. This area will be for staff only. We have adapted our Community Care program so that it meets physical distancing requirements. Please contact the church office for more details.

Be assured that although our church doors will be closed, our ministry and our faith will remain active.

Giving/Offering:

With services being canceled for the time being, we want to clarify the options

for submitting weekly offering.

Patience and Prayers:

Please be in prayer for each other and for our church leadership. We find ourselves in new territory and are doing our best to follow Jesus, care for one another, communicate clearly and serve our church and community through this unprecedented time.
